Project for a New American Century (PNAC) is a 75-page document drawn up by highly patriotic individuals (“neocons”) in 1997. PNAC is the brain child of Dick Chaney, Donald Rumsfield, Paul Wolfowitz with ex-CIA head George Herbert Walker Bush. Reporters in 2015 hesitate to ask Jeb Bush about his support for PNAC. Other brazen reporters remember the fate of Helen Thomas who was moved from the front row in press conferences because she made presidents squirm with her pointed questions. After Thomas asked Barack Obama “Which country in the Persian Gulf already has nuclear weapons? (Answer – Israel) she was no longer invited to the press conferences.

PNAC deserves careful study by all US citizens in a nation where the military spends over $2 billion daily on “defense” and “we have never been more insecure in our history.” (Retired US Navy Admiral Noel Gaylor (August 6, 1984 in Haverford College, Philadelphia)

In all simplicity, PNAC pleads for US domination on land, sea, air and outer space. Since the Vietnam disaster, the US has invaded at least 15 nations. Seventy have felt our wrath since 1776.

Fearful of Guatemala’s elected President Arbenz’ nationalization of vast farms dominated by US corporations, the CIA engineered a bloody coup in 1954, not far removed historically from the CIA overthrow of the Mossadegh government in Iran. Both Iran and Guatemala are wary of US foreign policies. Suspicion existing between Teheran and Washington lingers in 2015. A decadent president of Guatemala finally resigned from office September 4th, 2015. The framework of oligarchs and ruthless military trained in the US School of the Americas (Ft. Benning, GA) still maintain a dark grip of control over Guatemala. The nation remains tense.

Rarely do analysts point out thousands of immigrants fleeing Latin America, Central America, and Mexico are trying to find survival away from nations where avarice, bureaucracy and corruption (ABC’s) of their homeland are direct results of USA/CIA interference. Hundreds of US military outposts reveal the imperial grip of Washington globally. Roman emperors never dreamed of an empire so extensive.

As the 2016 elections draw closer, another record will be broken as political Action Committees and extremely wealthy oligarchs pour millions into the campaigns. Corporations of the Carbon Combustion Complex (CCC) obtain drilling rights in the Artic where five nations now claim fossil fuel reserves belong to them. Accidents will occur by admission of oil corporations, but the Arctic is inhospitable for corrections.

Will we dedicate time to carefully research PNAC goals for domination in a world of shrinking resources, climate change, and a European refugee crisis unknown since mass dislocation following WWII?

Which candidate will bring our precarious global harmony closer to greater upheaval by striving to enact goals of PNAC? Reporters could ask each presidential hopeful what they think of PNAC and Pax Americana.
