NASA scientist James Hansen declared before a skeptical US Congress in 1998, “Global warming is a reality.” In 2018, a high percentage of US elected officials still deny global warming even though 97% of scientists continue to warn of drastic changes to come in our climate.

A “Universal Message” – Earth Hour occurred at 8:30PM March 24th as lights in major cities globally went out for one hour. The Eiffel tower and statue of Liberty went dark from 8:30 – 9:30PM to enlighten all of the fact a new generation will inherit our reluctance to free ourselves from fossil fuels.
